This is the case of Fly Spa, an advanced laboratory in Trentino belonging to the Forgital group, which manufactures large components for the main global players in the aerospace sector.<br><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>A genuine workshop specialising in technologies that combine the strength of the most innovative materials with precision construction and the utmost attention to detail. This is where OMIS solutions come into play. The mechanical workshop in Grigno has equipped its facility with various systems from our range, designed for different areas and operations.<br>OMIS solutions do more than just move weight: they are lifting and handling systems designed to optimise time, increase safety, facilitate people\u2019s work and ensure precision even with bulky and delicate loads. Five overhead cranes, ranging from 10 to 6.3 tonnes, in single-girder versions with hoists and double-girder versions with parallel open barrel winches, are used in the production department to serve the numerous vertical lathes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The shipping department uses 10-tonne bridge cranes, while the production and maintenance departments, where smooth, reliable and controlled movements are required, use various jib cranes (250 kg and 1000 kg) for assembly and repair work.<br>All these solutions guarantee the necessary mobility, versatility and ability to ensure autonomy for workstations and operators.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The high design and manufacturing standards of OMIS systems reduce handling times, thanks to systems optimised for internal workflows, increase operator safety, thanks to solutions that minimise physical effort and manual intervention, and guarantee precision in component positioning, which is essential in high-end machining for aerospace applications.<br>These are the reasons why Fly trusts OMIS.
